Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series images leaked, two models tipped

Renders of the high-resolution Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series have been leaked, suggesting that the smartwatch will be launched in two models. The rumored wearable from Samsung would come in multiple variants and color options. The wearable’s names and color options have also been leaked in the past. Recently, the smartwatch was spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, indicating that there will be a total of six models in the lineup. They are expected to be launched during the alleged Galaxy Unpacked event which is said to be held next month.

According to a report from 91Mobiles, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will reportedly have two models: the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and the Galaxy Watch 5. Both models are said to have two physical buttons. The pro model is said to be more formal and also more expensive of the two. It is said to correlate with last year’s Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. It is said to be codenamed ‘Project X’ and is expected to debut in Black or Titanium Gray colours.

The second model of the smartwatch could simply be called the Galaxy Watch 5. It is said to be codenamed “Heart” and match last year’s Galaxy Watch 4. It is expected to come in LTE or Bluetooth variants in two different sizes. Both are tipped to use wearOS 3.5 skin based on One UI Watch 4.5.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Series was reportedly spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database last month. The listing suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will be launched in six variants. The names and prices of the variants were leaked earlier this year.

Tipster Roland Quandt claimed that the Galaxy Watch 5 (40mm) with Bluetooth will be priced at EUR 300 (approximately Rs. 24,200) and the LTE version will cost EUR 350 (approximately Rs. 28,200). The 44mm variant of the regular Bluetooth-only model will reportedly cost EUR 350 (approximately Rs. 28,200) and the 44mm LTE model may cost EUR 400 (approximately Rs. 32,250). The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is rumored to be only available in a 45mm format. The Bluetooth-only variant will reportedly cost EUR 490 (approximately Rs. 39,500) and the LTE version could be EUR 540 (approximately Rs. 43,550).
